This event is a combination of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), The Journey Method and hypnosis that attacks your smoking issue from just about every angle. SESSION 1 begins with a discussion of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and the power that language has upon the other than conscious ® mind. For example there is a reason that we don’t use the term Quit Smoking. That is because the word “quit” can have negative connotations to the other than conscious ® mind which doesn't do well with ambiguities. But that’s getting ahead of ourselves.

We also will use the NLP process of creating a well formed outcome to make sure that your goal of becoming free from tobacco and healthy agrees with other things going on in your other than conscious ® mind. If you're emotional needs are not met in some way, the desire to smoke will continue to plague you.

Have you ever felt like there was a part of you that was working against you? We all have. The next section of the session focuses upon getting all of the parts of you that may have conflicting emotional needs and are all working in their own best interest, which is often in different and conflicting ways to commit to work together.

For example: A man wanted to quit smoking and had failed again and again. When we did the process we determined that when he was a teenager, he wanted to be cool (accepted by his peers) like James Dean. Many times when he felt anxious, stressed or insecure, he would light up one so he could feel cool again, (this is known as accidental self-hypnosis).

In order to deal with his smoking issue, we had to allow the other than conscious ® mind to come up with other ways of dealing with stress that did not include tobacco.

By reuniting the part that wanted to be smoke free and the part that dealt with emotions, stress and anxiety through smoking we created a part that would allow this gentleman to be smoke free and still feel the emotional well being that he received from tobacco. This process concludes the first session.

SESSION 2 begins with building the well formed outcome and communicating to the other than conscious ® mind clearly, succinctly and exactly what we want to create and how we want this new goal to fit in with our friends, family and lifestyle. Then it’s time for another NLP technique called The Time Line Method.

The Time Line Method® is a process in which we float back in your memory to the time of your original, first cigarette and deal with the emotional issues, fears and anxieties that were taking place within you at that time. We teach the other than conscious ® mind that it has always had choices and that there are already tools at its disposal that it can use to deal with the emotions, stress and anxiety other than smoking. So the other than conscious mind need not take that first smoke.

By creating choice in the mind back at the occurrence of the first cigarette, it weakens the foundation that the mind bases it's use of tobacco upon. This is an amazing, emotional and power process and it's conclusion is the conclusion of session two.

SESSION 3 begins with a recount of the previous two session and we further discuss the other other than conscious ® mind, and how to reinforce the processes we'e doing though hypnosis/self-hypnosis. There are some people that believe all hypnosis is self-hypnosis, and I agree with them.

We discuss how you will follow up by doing this process every night on your own, as I guide you through a self-hypnosis process that installs and integrates your well formed outcome, of remaining smoke free and healthy into your other that conscious ® mind. Then each and every night when your repeat this self-hypnosis automatically, you reinforce and strengthen this well formed outcome.
